Why do people make it sound like Canelo was fresh up out the Amatures when he lost to Floyd?

Canelo was a unified champion with over 40 fights and 6 title defenses when Mayweather challenged him for HIS belt...

Haters always try to gloss over that win for Mayweather, like it never happened. They say Canelo was 'still learning'..

Im not saying he hasn't made any improvement since that fight, but he's still basically the same fighter...if anything he was more of a KO artist when May fought him than he has been the last couple years

    I completely agree with you.

These people also don't mention Floyd was 36 and started as a Super Featherweight.

But you can ignore that, right?

No what they are really trying to say is he was starved and dehydrated more than an Ethiopian, IV a good idea Mayweather was in a much better state.

Just look at what a bit of Mexican steak can do for a fighter....

Nobody is saying amateurs, but he was NO WHERE near his peak, nor was he prime. It's that simple. His performance in that fight, and what we see now prove he has improved. My issue is people acting like Floyd beat a prime Canelo. He didn't.

Additionally, beating the pfp number 2, 3, 2, 4, and 5 doesn't count, especially when you're ranked above the other guy on the list in three of those instances.

Floyd wouldn't have fought him if he was not inexperienced and able to be beaten.
