For what? Boxing does not need him. We have a lot of fights and real fights where guys do not look for the win with some advantage. He is a good fighter, but he orchestrated an undefeated record because he didn't want to make greatness challenging all when they were tops. I guess that is the route he took and he will be remembered for that. He will be rated high enough probably. But then his resume of prime elites will hurt him. And if he fights again he will find someone he knows he can beat. I am not sure he will fight Manny, since he might see how Manny is still active and that might be too much of a risk for him at the moment. Unless he has another tuneup.. But he already beat him so why do that again.

 

Can we stop giving Floyd attention? Unless Floyd is coming back to fight Crawford or Spence we shouldn't be giving him any attention.

 

He might do this if FLOPPY Floyd doesn't get enough attention

 

I bet Stephen Espinoza had a conversation with Floyd recently. It consisted of this:

Weasel: 'Morning Floyd. Please come out of retirement to save my channel from total destruction. I will pay you big money. Sound good?'
Floyd: 'Sorry Master Espinoza, I apologise for ruining your channel by retiring. It's time I saved it by coming back! Anything for you!'

And so the Mayweather-Pacquiao II talks began in order to save Showtime from it's imminent demise.

There's only so many times Weasel Espinoza can play this tactic. He knows Showtime is finished. Fox have stolen all the talent from them, ESPN and DAZN are on the rise. His main man Deonkey is under threat from other networks. But as usual, he counts on Floyd to save the day....

I bet you he'll be back next year too to give Espinoza lots of tasty PPV buys that are otherwise out of reach.
