It's bit of a Rocky story but I'm sold, he'll have been out for the better part of a year so no problem with a tune up.
So, what do we know about this guy? He's Canadian. He seems to be from the Kronk Gym. He's unbeaten (says nothing at all). He hasn't fought anyone yet.
35 years old. Best victory to date is a split decision over Demond Nicholson. 83-14 amateur record. 10 kayos in 19 bouts against mostly unknown opposition. Doesn't even train in a dedicated boxing gym (his coach is an MMA striking coach and runs an MMA facility). Ugh.
He wore a Kronk t-shirt in a photograph once. I'd say his connection to Steward or anybody else there is tenuous at best.
GGG should just fight @168, why drain yourself for a fight against Stefan Rolls. This fight isn't worthy of a sparring session. GGG is probably getting 8 figures to fight Stefan Rolls. I will say it again GGG is tbe at the business table. Low risk-high reward
Now that this is all but official...I'm very close to giving my favorite fighter the commonly used nickname of "Bum Killer" Come on Golovkin....
You prefer him to N'dam, a guy proven on a world level, has more than a handful of good wins, that has shown a fairly decent skillset, shown a good chin, good stamina, good punch output. Hell, I'd pick N'dam vs. Rolls LOL
