Tbf Shavers, in his prime, was 39-2 with 39 knockouts

Man was a freak of nature but simply too limited. Foreman was the superior fighter in general, better chin, more accurate, better at cutting off the ring, etc

Some critics actually observed that Marciano's punching style changed after the Walcott fights and he became less of a "one punch" KO seeker and focussed more on the volume.
Whether this is true or not, I don't know.
I guess they were considering the Layne, Louis and Walcott KOs and some other of his earlier fights where he finished things with a few big punches, and comparing to the later fights against Charles, Cokcell and Moore where he poured on more punches.
I'm not sure what Charley Goldman had to say on it, if anything.

No it's a well thought out post from your master!

Admit that Sheppard hit harder than Louis and we will leave it at that.

Remember here all quotes are fact.

Moore said Sheppard hit harder than Marciano and Walcott said Marciano hit harder than Louis so it's 100% gospel that Sheppard hit harder than Louis.

Admit it and we can move on pal.

Sure, Charles did have two fights in 1943 up to March. So what? He lost both of them! So what does this mean? Are you trying to say because Charles didn’t win an official professional fight from 1943 until 1946 this means he must have been “even” better than when he started to fight heavyweights in 1946? The years he didn’t win any pro fights he was better? What a lot of nonsense!

Ezzard was certainly absent from professional boxing in April 1943 and all the way to December of 1943. So most of 1943! Absent from professional boxing in 1944. Absent from professional boxing in 1945. Altogether He was entirely absent from professional boxing from March 1943 until February 1946. Three years to most people. He never won an official professional fight in three years.

The point is Charles was not a better boxer in 1943, 1944 or 1945 than he was in 1946. It is impossible that Charles was a better fighter before 1946isn’t it? Isn’t that the truth? This is the importance of it and you know this all too well.

Trying to trip me up with nonsense where Charles lost two fights at the start of 1943 and trying to include army fights to prove I am lying about Charles being absent from professional boxing is rather silly. It’s absolutely laughable that The fact he lost both 1943 fights proves he was better then than in 1946!

When you’re fighting elite boxers it’s harder to impose your power. The power puncher has to use more speed and volume.

So you can’t answer my question about who owned me? Sounds about right. I answered everything on here.

Who looks more lame, the bum from the dark or the one who answers all the questions?
