I hope it's Ortiz but I expect Hunter.

    Charr would be completely awful.
Pulev was badly cut and is currently suspended.
Kownacki is like Miller stylistically but don't think it will be him.

I think any of those bar Charr would be acceptable given the short notice, Miller should be getting a lengthy ban for this, what he has been caught with is not something that could be taken by mistake its basically a pure PED and goes a long way to explaining his stamina for a guy so big.

Personally Kowinaki or Ortiz would be the two I would prefer to see from that list, probably be Ortiz though he has good US name value and will be a good story with Wilder fighjting an old AJ opponent and vice versa, makes a good talking point.

If any form of offer is given Ortiz should jump all over it, he isn't likely to get another chance anytime soon. Kownacki would likely make the most sense having a similar style to what Joshua was preparing for. Charr would be awful, he has zero profile in the U.S. and he is Manuel Charr. I would say Whyte is free but that fight makes no sense in the U.S.

Would prefer Ortiz but it’s definitely going to be Hunter. Due to fight on the Matchroom show the week before anyway, so it makes the most sense.

This is the US, he'll get a 6 month ban if that, that seems to be the standard for doping in boxing in the US.

I hope it's Ortiz and pray it isn't Charr.

Might as well make it Ortiz, so every Ortiz fan on this forum can STFU.

I don't see why Ortiz wouldn't jump all over it. He is on his way out of the sport, he can make lots of money and retire, and he is banging on about how he can beat Joshua and take the belts.

Yes good idea. A multi million pound global promotion company should make a fight because 'Aydamn' from BoxingForum24 wants to use its result to score points vs anonymous posters on the internet.

Everyone assuming Ortiz would do it on short notice. If he is a serious player he would want a full camp..

Yeah Charr is a pointless fight and would be over quickly and add nothing to AJ's career or resume.
Would be like a return to the bad old days with Vlads bum of the month carosel

Tell you what. Never occured to me before but I’d love the Hunter fight, Hunter won 2-3 rounds off Usyk, gave him a good fight and Hunter vs Joshua could give us a decent comaprison between Usyk’s and Joshua’s performance vs Hunter

I can see all 5 of them agreeing to it to be honest. However, if Donkey was on the shortlist he definitely wouldn't.

    They will probably choose Ortiz.
