I'd personally like Konwacki, I think Ortiz has completely lost it. But I wasn't interested in the Miller fight anyway

    Kownacki is the best option.
    Undefeated, ranked and from Brooklyn.
He'll take the fight if Haymon allows it, great opportunity for him.

I honestly don't care but voted Ortiz if forced to pick. Unless it is Fury or Wilder, does it really matter.

Yeah I agree, to me it's Kownacki or Ortiz.

I'm no fan of the Charr option, other than the chance to put that ridiculous belt out of the picture.

Agree, he would be the number one choice in my view. I think the optics are better than Ortiz who is visibly ageing and has the Wilder loss on his record.

Well considering its debatable that half a dozen HWs can beat the two you listed, yes.

Pulev and Whyte deserve a full camp. The same for Ortiz, if he will fight for the win, not for the money(that he can take to make a good PR for Joshua).Rivas is too small, but it can be interesting to see Joshua against some small guy with skills.Kownacki..interesting..how durable will be his head.

Fres Oquendo has been waiting many years for this chance.

Would still be a tougher opponent than Schwarz.

The optics on Kownacki reveal a flabby punching bag.

I'd like to get a carousel,
And take it to the ring,
Instead of horses on its poles,
    I'd put another thing,

12 HW boxers we all know,
    From happy times now past,
They'd have to hold on tight of course,
    As this carousel spins fast,

And when it stops at round 1's start,
It's Wlad who has the job,
Of chasing AJ round the ring,
And punching him in his gob,

Then who appears to start round 2,
    But Shannon feckin Briggs,
He'll try to land that big right hand,
    Whilst AJ bobs and jiggs,

For 12 full rounds we'll get to see,
    AJ fight yesterdays best,
    Peters, Vitali A force too,
They won't fail a PED test,

When AJ's smashed the last one down,
    It's time for Eddie Hearn,
To put Big Baby on the pyre,
And watch that fat cheat burn,

He's not going to win Mr Universe that's for sure but he's NYC, unbeaten, Ring has him 8th in the world, a solid choice I think?

I’m 100% sure that the people in New York and, in general, would prefer Ortiz. Chicago would prefer Kownacki.

Hearn could definitely save the event by picking Luis Ortiz.

The easiest play would be Hunter, but that's a 90-second fight and Hunter offers nothing. And I don't know how that helps build Joshua in the U.S. If anything, it'll disappoint people.

If you're Hearn, or DAZN for that matter, how do you work with Miller again? The guy really ruined everyone's plans. Just totally unprofessional. Millions invested for nothing.
