Errrr replacement, personally not bothered whatsoever, don't care, I'm losing interest in the Heavyweights now, Fury has gone his own way, Wilder refused 100 million for 3 fights and AJ's face is getting on my nerves.

Soooooo, Let it be Ortiz, he is undeserving in my opinion and an old aged pensioner but who else is there?

Whyte would want a proper camp and isn't anywhere near ready for 6 weeks

Pulev? Can't see that happening, he doesn't want to fight AJ anyway.

Fury/Wilder obviously not and AJ has already beaten Povetkin, Parker.

Yeah, so, who cares, Ortiz is OK if he is willing to step in on very short notice, if he isn't I wouldn't blame him, he can't be abused if he says "No", in fairness to the old man it isn't his job to save AJ/Hearn and the big US debut, if I was Ortiz and I was fit enough and knew I could make it in 6 weeks I would hold them to ransom anyway and demand a huge purse.

Ortiz fought in December. He fought again in March. Six weeks should be plenty of time to get ready for a fight June 1.

It's not like he's going to win by decision against Joshua. It's a ko or nothing.

    Sssshhhhhh

Ortiz needs to ramp his purse up, so he needs to say "maybe at a real squeeze I could make it, hmmm not sure.. what's the purse"?

I don't know if he's in a position to squeeze anyone.

Ortiz is not rated by the WBA or the WBO, so this is likely his best chance to get Joshua in the ring (he isn't going to do it by becoming a mandatory).

Manuel Charr is going to reporters saying his team is in talks with Joshua, which could be true.

Michael Hunter is a Matchroom fighter and he's from the U.S. And Hunter would likely take anything. (He's got the best shot to get it, and, other than Charr, would be the easiest to beat.)

Kownacki is rated higher than Ortiz and Hunter by the IBF.

So, really, unless Ortiz can snag a rematch with Wilder, this is kind of his only chance to get another title shot. He could have it on June 1. He's been active.

Normally, I think boxers should try to get the best deal possible. In this instance, as a late sub, I think Ortiz should go for it.

Of the guys mentioned, I think he would have the best chance of actually winning ... and I think they believe that, too ... which means he is the guy they LEAST want to fight (despite what Hearn says in the press).

Agree to take Miller's purse and announce you'll step in. Make a show of it. Then they have to turn you down publicly and choose a lesser fighter.

Worst part about this is the Miller hype gets to continue.... instead of getting completely demolished alongside him at the hands of AJ after hes treated like the third tier heavyweight he is.

And lol at Miller... a guy whose been entirely manufactured into a name and a title shot, managing screw up even being a sacrificial lamb.

It's funny to me all these names being thrown out but the only real threat is being left off...notice AJ doesn't dare mention Shannon Briggs name. "Whats up, Champ?"

Well if you’re going to cheat then you might as well risk getting caught for a sheep instead of a lamb.

This substance is as bad and as blatant as it can possibly get!
There are no arguments to be made in defence of this, there’s only one reason for this to be in your system.

You’ve got to be very desperate, very scared and feel very overmatched to risk putting this shti into your bloodstream. The big Pharma companies put tens of millions into developing this drug and even they dropped it like hot dog turd because it definitely causes cancer in multiple organs of the body.

I’m sorry for boxing & boxing fans
I’m not sorry for Miller, not one bit.
You can’t talk shti about people be as loud and obnoxious as he is while openly accusing your opponent of being a drugs cheat and expect any sympathy or leniency.
I hope this sees his end as a heavyweight boxer

Ok then, given that you're obviously such an expert on the Heavyweight scene and Deontay Wilder in particular, how about you tell us all, which American fighters Wilder has beat for him to stake his claim as the best Heavyweight boxer in the USA.

I'll start it off for you.Wilder fought non other than Jason Gavern prior to challenging Stiverne for the Heavyweight title. Oh and he also fought a shot to ****, at short notice Christobel Arreola and the heavyweight illuminary, Gerald Washington. Your beloved hero has yet to prove himself Americas top heavyweight, let alone the worlds best.

He's only now fighting Breazeale (mandatory), never fought Miller, Jennings, Bryan, Martin and a whole host of American based contenders like Kownacki and Ugonoh. When your boyfriend finally decides on his retirement payday and fights Joshua, he's getting knocked the **** out, Charles Martin style and I would stake my house on it.
