Is Spence special?

I disagree Spence showed a new wrinkle against mikey he actually outboxed him. I expected him to bully and rough up mikey but he boxed instead.

 

and when did you see him do anything that resembles that against mikey?

 

watching it now, just finished the 1st rd. spence is showing how much better his footwork is than brook, and i saw absolutely no trouble facing spence yet. take a look at how they both move their legs. when brook moves forward, notice how fast and how much distance spence puts when he moves away from brooks forward movement, now compare that to when spence moves forward and brook moves back. that will tell you the quality of their footwork. starting rd2 now.

He is and I’m a fan but Bud is better in my opinion.

 

rd 2. spence is starting to hold his ground more, he is not moving away when brook moves forward, choosing to cover up instead to make more of an inside fight. spence has started moving forward, not taking any backward steps. i forgot to add to rd 1, that brook tried tying up and spence just wailed on his body with his free hand. spence has now felt brooks power, and showed brook he couldnt be tied up, and is now actively walking brook down. spence is not throwing much, he is just covering up and moving forward, forcing brook to work. brook now knows he cant tie up spence, so his strategy now is to just move back, getting off first to keep spence from getting inside. spence is content to just walk him down and make him work. spences jab is starting to land frequently, as he starts to get brooks timing down, brook is not fast enough to come over the top of spences jab to counter. brook rd, as spence was more interested in depleting brook than scoring.

 

You do know that JMM is the ultimate stylistic nightmare for Pac, right? Not to mention JMM was on more **** than probably Miller for III and IV.

You also know that Pac obliterated Cotto, Hatton, and ODLH and they all gave Floyd trouble, right? And Maidana, a guy Alexander shut out, took Floyd into deep waters. Against a prime Pac, Maidana would get found out real quick.
