Weight loss going well, but he still has too much fat on and I don’t think that he can get rid of it, even with perfect training and perfect diet. And then a tough weight cut...

There is no scientific reason that he couldn’t. It’s just a matter of cutting the correct amount of calories over a specified period of time. Now how well he can actually perform at 147 is another question.
Well his test levels will have naturally plummeted as a result of getting older, inactivity and poor diet. If Maidana was always a legitimately natural athlete, getting to the shape he used to be in won’t be possible naturally.
its got dangerous written all over it, even if he had kept in reasonable shape, 147 is to much to ask
He'll be dead at the weight, maybe at 154 too. The weight that his body will be comfortable fighting at this stage will be a weight where he wont have any chance at imo
Even if he does it will have a negative effect his liver , kidneys , stamina, heart rate etc etc he should go and speak to wicky he will soon tell him the damage is done should have stayed active after the Floyd fight for a couple of few more years he would not have this urge or need which ever it his his paydays after Floyd would only have gone up imo
If I was him I'd get down to about 160, then hold it there for 3 months minimum. then get it lower or start a fight camp where he'll also be cutting water. if he rushes it, it won't end up well for him.
He won't be doing it naturally, he can use as much PEDs as he needs because he isn't signed to a fight so he is "out of competition"
It's definitely possible for him to make WW again. There's a number of guys that have gone 200+ and got back down to even lower than that. Does he have the discipline and true desire to do it at this stage is the real question.
