We know why Charr wants it, he wants that huge Payday loud and clear, listen to him talk in the media "This is a wonderful oppurtunity for me and Joshua to unify our belts as true gentlemen and sportsman" "I will bring the belt home to my countrymen and I will make my people proud" "I am certain in victory!"

Even Charr knows how to lay down and get paid...even though he is confident he will lose (deep down)

Charr doesn't deserve the payday, as he got busted for PED's too but got away with it on a technicality.
That's replacing one cheat in favor of another.

    Let's give it to Hunter.

I totally agree, he is pathetic, but it's funny he steps up with NO hesitation clearly understanding the oppurtunity, and the Ortiz and Kownacki who are way more talented are turning it down!!!!

    It's insane.

Yeah I think it'll be Hunter.

Listening to the IFL interview yesterday, Hearn knows really that he wouldn't be able to get away with Charr. Kownacki has ruled himself out, seemingly Ortiz too (although he is Hearn and Joshua's apparent first choice).

Pulev with his issues and injury doesn't seem likely too. Hunter only realistic candidate unless something drastic changes. Not a terrible fight either, might even be more competitive than Miller.

Yeah I think it will be Hunter. American, he wants it, he'll definitely show up and try and win and he used to taking fights at short notice with little prep.

He'll obviously lose, being far too small but he'll make millions and Hearn will likely keep giving him decent fights afterwards on his shows. He'll do very nicely out of this.

Exactly - no one will expect him to win so his reputation won't suffer if he does and it'll introduce him to a huge UK audience. Plenty of good fights out there for him after this one.

Actually I won't be surprised if Hunter gives Joshua more of a fight than expected. Sort of like Takam, also a short-notice fight, everyone thought Carlos was going to get blasted out quick, but ended up putting up a good fight. I don't think Hunter is worse than Takam.

Takam benefited from AJ fight and got 2 well paid fights in Chisora and Uysk out of it.

It's a terrible fight for Joshua. He could blast Hunter out but he'll get no credit. Just as likely, as you say, is Hunter will turn out to be an awkward style match up that chips away a little at Joshua's rep (much as the short notice Takam fight did).

That said, I'm near certain now that Hunter will be the guy. Only other option is Whyte, but that's problematic for a number of reasons, and frankly it would seem a waste to have that one any where but the UK.

I agree that Hunter maybe not worse than Takam, he's a decent enough fighter, but I think Takam only lasted as long as he did vs Joshua because he choose to move and try and counter. Takam didn't want to stand and fight it out like he usually does and so was able to last longer. Hunter I think will show more ambition and that will get stopped far sooner.

I'm glad the little fat kid Kownacki isn't being served up for AJ.
    Miller was bad enough.

A Carlos Takam rematch probably better fight than either of those two fatties

Maybe I just rate Hunter Jr more highly, in my view this is as difficult a fight as the Miller fight. Hunter Jr is not much smaller than Parker (an inch or maybe two in height, but a longer reach), and at least as skilled, and I expect him to at least get to the second half of the fight. He's an awkward customer.

But we shall find out, hopefully :)

Yes, good points. That being said, if Joshua handles Hunter Jr easily I'll definitely give him credit. But to me this is an awkward fight.
