Agreed, Kiwi. The only thing I would add, is taking this fight at late notice kinda adds up to a free roll of the dice - unless he gets obliterated and totally exposed. Even a half decent showing in defeat - with a much-publicised short camp - would do more good than harm. He could still fight Wilder later in the year and with a much better public profile than he has now. Hell, Wilder might even be more keen on matching him having seen him lose against AJ...

Bankole, who at the time was getting a lot of hype by a lot of posters on here saying he was a better prospect than Dubois and Gorman. Hunter delt with ease a old but very big Euro level Ustinov (which is Charr's best career win). Also Hunter's proved to be one of Usyk's toughest challenges.

For me if you were to say how Hunter compares to AJ resume you have: a all time great (in Wlad), 3 world level fighters (Povetkin, Parker and Whyte) and 2 solid fringe contenders (Takam and Breazeale). I would say Hunter is a fringe contender but a better fighter than Takam and Breazeale and has the potential to be a World level HW.

Usyk, while a great fighter, is not a household name anywhere except his house...to suggest this is a money fight that needs to marinate is just mind boggling.

Well your mind boggles rather easily.

Besides, did you see the Bellew v Usyk PPV numbers. I guess those were just made up.

The nerve of these guys not saving Hearn and AJ's card...I mean do they not know how important it is? Have you considered they know exactly how important it is...that they've had to listen to people like you go on and on about AJ calling all the shots etc, and are instead saying "FU" and your 6 million, you want us to come save your ass it's gonna take 12 million...has that crossed your mind or nah? Every fighter is just a "*****", that seems more likely to you...they are all just "weak"? Is this really your position?

I've dealt with better trolls than you...yawn.

Anyways, I just want to see Ortiz and Kownacki make some money to support their children. You know Wilder cannot provide that payday, and looking at the rankings, I don't see how Ortiz or Kownacki will get into this position again.

You know Kownacki could lose his next fight, and Ortiz has already had a shot at Wilder and is facing retirement.

Have some UK PPV numbers instead, they are more uplifting and better for your mental health: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Box_Office

Good thing we don't bring in Usyk for the card then, given your poor outlook on US PPV, just proves my argument really.

The ole "avoid replying to a single point" routine, welcome to Stupidity grandpa

I expect the "your points are too silly to respond to" routine to come up next, or the "im too busy to reply" routine..

So which one will it be

Hearn in interview a hour ago on skysports stated Don King called him within minutes of the Miller news to say Trevor Byran would be interested in the fight. Thankfully Hearn has ruled him out as an option.

Hearn stated roughly 18 fighters management in contact with him regardng the fight. Hearn said he had to rule 10 of the 18 out as they aren't good enough to be contenders. Mentioned the 8 included ortiz (also stated that Ortiz manager said it was too short notice), Kownacki (who we know has turned down the fight) , Hunter, Charr and Kabayel. Stated they would prefer an American or fighter who regularly fights in America.

Its interesting situation to be honest. First of all i believe that none of those people that might replace Miller will get anywhere near the amount of money that Miller was going to cash or 6~ mil.

On that part about not enough time to prepare for such a fight, it might be about right as well.

So the way i see it is that someone like Takam that got nothing to lose and wants some short money will agree and take that fight.

Kownacki even if he gets fight against Wilder later on then he will make even lesser money compared to AJ fight but still if he has no time to prepare then let him be. After all Kownacki struggled badly vs Charles Martin and is very limited fighter. He should take that low ball offer and take a loss then rebuild in my opinion.

I dont want to defend Pulev but he suffered bad cut recently and got issues in the US and also will probably get less money compared to if he fights AJ as mandatory for the IBF. He ain`t stupid.

In Bulgaria media it`s said the offer for Pulev was 10mil. So whoever it is the opponent will take a lot of money. Won`t be less then 6,5mil. for sure.
    Miller cash was 6,7mil.
So this will be huge payday for anyone.
