    Round 3

Davtaev is contentedly jabbing Ota between his pinkies (ergo between his eyes) from a safe distance and finding a comfortable landing strip for his right hand either up top (against Ota's bald pate) or down low (into his gut, with the uppercut) but not putting any urgency into his shots nor stringing them into combinations. Ota for his part, fighting in spurts for about 10 seconds per minute, is at least scratching and pecking with both hands in multiples of upwards of eight or nine light punches into Davtaev's torso before either collapsing in with a clinch or getting prodded out with jabs.

    10-9 Davtaev

    30-27 Davtaev

    Round 4

Davtaev is pushing Ota into the ropes, embedding his jab in the chest and then clapping his right hand down across the skull. Ota is bleeding and has a swollen left eye, but keeps leaping up off his toes with flurries before either grinding into clinches or getting shoved into the ropes and then peppered with a mixture of legal clubbing blows and rabbit punches.

    10-9 Davtaev

    40-36 Davtaev

    Round 5

Davtaev is nailing Ota repeatedly with rights, driving him into a corner. Ota goes down messily and the ref determines it was a slip from a wet spot on the canvas, and doesn't give a count. Moments later Davtaev scores a clear unambiguous knockdown, breaking Ota down via the accumulation of hard rights, culminating in one flush on the bottom of the chin that has Ota's legs totally liquefied and leaves him scrabbling for the bottom rope.

    TKO5!

Just saw this. Even though I said what I said earlier, never doubt that YouTube comments are the most toxic place on the internet lol

Especially if the YouTube video in question has anything whatsoever to do with Chechnya, which is among the most toxic places on earth.

I think they pump additional recorded crowd noise into the arena lol. The arena has been fairly empty and there’s been a fairly consistent chorus of whistling and clapping throughout the event

With the animated sequence, the frequent cutaways to Kadyrov, there was a heavy propganda feel to the card.
