He won't be rated all that highly without the resume to back it up, same as Crawford. We see the talent, but what else is there? What can he do against a top tier guy that is his size? We know he's athletically gifted, one of the most pure technical boxers, and good defensively. But he shows vulnerability against guys he doesn't seem like he should show vulnerability to. His Jose Luis Castillo may be Lopez, but he's acting like he doesn't want the smoke right now. Instead opting to fight Euro level guys, while claiming the young buck hasn't done a thing yet. Last I looked, most of the guys on his resume hadn't done a thing yet at his weight class.
no but they where down and excited about it loma the only one saying he's to old no one will give me credit
I’m sure they were down and excited about fighting an old man that they’re too big for. Big money fight, name on their record. Loma just repeated what the fans said
P4P #1 Two olympic golds, Two world championships (more impressive than Olympics), 400-1 Fighting 12 round championship fights from day 1 which is utterly mind blowing. A 60 fight veteran world champion in Salido (yes he clearly won that fight), Gary Russell, Walters, Rigo, Linares all a outstanding wins. Pedraza, Crolla are a great start to the year. This is a skill set that we have never seen before. Cambell, Comey or Lopez is a great finish to this year if we can get two of these three. Don't discount that Haymon may cash out Mikey Garcia and feed him to TR/ESPN for a unification fight at 135lbs. I think this board would be in full meltdown and mindblown.
