Mike Costello just said on Five Live, that these are the front runners, right now.

I'd imagine it will be Michael Hunter or Oscar Rivas

It’s going to be an easy nights work...but the same could be said for the Fury and Wilder fights too.

I actually think Hunter causes AJ more problems than Miller would have. Hunter certainly a better fighter then Brezeale and Schwarz.

Rivas is more a unkown quantity. Fought nobodies untill Jennings and caused an upset. Jennings was out boxing Rivas, but Rivas showed he can pack a punch. Saying that Jennings is also Ortiz best career win.

Kownacki is probably stylistically the easiest matchup for AJ out a top 15 ranked opponent across the 4 governing bodies. It would be entertaining fight though for the short time it lasts.

Kabayel would be interesting choice considering how comfortably he beat Chisora.

I just hope it isnt Charr, even Breazeale is better than Charr.

I’m not quite sold on Hunter mate but I agree I rate him higher than Breazeale or Schwarz. I just think Joshua is too good a boxer to let Hunter give him the run around. I dunno...maybe it would be a fun fight. Joshua needs to get back out there though, been a while since we saw him box.

It will probably be Hunter I guess, but I would prefer Rivas.

I think Hunter would give Joshua fits for 2 or 3 rounds but Joshua would adjust and get him out of there after 5 or 6 rounds imo. I think Hunter would be a better fight than Miller, as I think he could at least win some rounds early were as i think Miller would not have won a round.

Tricky to sell any opponent at this stage to the PPV audience in the UK.

Hunter at the moment looks to be the front runner.

Of course they will- it’s AJ. It’s champions league final night as well, which will finish about 11 after all the coverage especially if it’s Spurs V Liverpool which will probably roll straight into the PPV. The sports bars/casinos etc everybody at everybody home will be hyped all day/night long.

    Kownacki has declined
Hunter hasn’t done enough to warrant this fight imo
Charr fight doesn’t sell in the states
    Pulev is suspended
Rivas stepped up and thumped Jennings but not much else
Ortiz would be my ideal choice and then Rivas but the situation isn’t great

I’d move the date and venue and fight whyte again to be honest but again not ideal
