    Round 5
    Camkiran 48-47 Gjergjaj
Gjergjaj comes out with a similar game plan to last round although he’s planting his feet a bit more on the punches. He lands a solid hook to Camkiran’s body which may have been the first punch he’s throw that seemed to bother Camkiran. Camkiran is back to bullying Gjergjaj all over the ring and forcing him into the corners of the ring so that he can unload with flurries. This is devolving into a pretty ugly clinchfest but Gjergjaj is actually having pretty good success. However if it turns into a firefight with both men just exchanging at closer range, I’m not sure how long he can last. He definitely took that round though and it was his best since round 1.
    Camkiran 9-10 Gjergjaj

    Round 6
    Camkiran 9–10 Gjergjaj
Arnold is smartly back on his bike, and I think he realizes he has Camkiran hurt to the body because that seems to be the focus on his attack. He lands a uppercut to the belly of Camkiran which causes Umut to wince. Camkiran unloads a small flurry which is probably his best moment of the last two rounds but he’s actually starting to look quite ragged himself. The crowd is starting to seem a bit anxious, and I think it’s affecting Camkiran slightly. He does land with a sloppy overhand right but I still think Gjergjaj probably takes that round with the work he did early on. Pretty close round though.
    Camkiran 57-57 Gjergjaj

    Round 7
    Camkiran 10-9 Gjergjaj
Both men seem pretty exhausted and not much has happened through the first 100 seconds of this round. Camkiran throws the first real punch of the round by either man, and lands a decent short hook. Gjergjaj doesn’t sit on his punches enough, so even when he’s landing these hooks, it’s basically just fanning off of Camkiran’s head. His best strategy so far was when he was attacking the body, as Camkiran seems a bit soft there. Camkiran blasts Gjergjaj with a nice short overhand right 5 seconds or so before the bell which definitely secured the round for him.
    Camkiran 67-66 Gjergjaj

    Round 8
    Camkiran 10-9 Gjergjaj
Gjergjaj may have just been taking the last round off as he’s come out with far better movement and more closely resembles the man from the earlier rounds. Camkiran takes control back when he throws a solid hook that forces Gjergjaj back into the ropes which allows Camkiran to unload with another flurry. Gjergjaj is starting to box fairly dumb and is allowing himself to get caught in places where Camkiran can overwhelm him. The movement from early in the round completely disappeared over the last 90 seconds.
    Camkiran 77-75 Gjergjaj

    Round 9
    Camkiran 10-9 Gjergjaj
Camkiran is really forcing the pressure on Gjergjaj this round and Gjergjaj finally be out of the energy required to move the way he was in the earlier rounds. However, while he may be bringing the pressure to Gjergjaj, Camkiran isn’t really throwing much compared to Gjergjaj who is throwing weak arm punches off the back foot as Camkiran is backing him down. Pretty low action round, Camkiran probably stole it at the very end with a series of hooks to Gjergjaj’s body
    Camkiran 87-84 Gjergjaj

    Round 10
    Camkiran 9-10 Gjergjaj
Gjergjaj is throwing far more to start the round and lands a nice sweeping hook to Camkiran’s body, which causes the Turk to take notice. Camkiran has hardly thrown a punch through the first two minutes of the round. He finally lands with a decent straight shot to Gjergjaj’s body but Gjergjaj is still taking the round with his activity. Camkiran decides he should bob and weave his way inside after waiting ten rounds to start doing so and has decent success. Close round
    Camkiran 96-94 Gjergjaj

    Round 11
    Camkiran 10-9 Gjergjaj
Pretty low activity in the first minute with a lot of holding and clinching. Camkiran seems fairly determined to try and get Gjergjaj out of there all of a sudden and is trying to pour the pressure on but isn’t having a great deal of success. The camera randomly cuts away, and cuts back to Camkiran in the corner unloading on Gjergjaj and seeming to slightly stagger Arnold. The round ends with Camkiran in control and Gjergjaj looking a bit out of sorts.
    Camkiran 106-103 Gjergjaj

Sounds like Çamkıran is no HW savior, then? Even a 116-112 type of decision over the Cobra is nothing to write home about; Gjergjaj is trash IMO. :nusenuse:

    Round 12
    Camkiran 10-9 Gjergjaj
Camkiran is coming out looking for the knockout this round and Gjergjaj doesn’t seem to have any answers besides holding until the ref breaks them. He’s effectively gone into survival mode, and Camkiran is getting extremely close with landing something that could have seriously hurt Gjergjaj but Arnold survives to the final
bell. Sloppy last round but probably one of the more exciting of a slightly mediocre fight.
    Camkiran 116-112 Gjergjaj

Also mind if I edit the title to include the diacritics in Çamkıran's name?

I would agree with your assessment. Was just going to post that I think he was slightly exposed tonight. Gjergjaj should get some credit as he fought fairly gallantly by his standards, and if I’m being honest, had this been somewhere other than Turkey, he may actually have a chance at a draw (though I think Camkiran would probably still edge it)

I’d like to see to the James “The Beast” Wilson face Camkiran in a battle of Sh***y Mike Tyson imitators.
