I’d love to see the fight but realistically I think Ortiz would only be a threat for around 6 rounds before he gasses. I’m not sure he’d back himself to go 12 rounds with AJ and the more chances he takes the more AJ would catch him. Too fast, too powerful and too savvy now, he’s no mug Joshua.
The surprising thing isn't that so many boxers are on the gear. It's rather that so many of them seem to be really bad at it. How the hell does anyone get popped for different things in two separate tests prior to the same fight?
Everyone seems to be on gear these days, not just in boxing, in all sports. I have been tempted to join in with the sparring down at my local boxing club but some of those lads don't seem right, I can't share a ring with someone who is on performance enhancing substances that could seriously danger my health and future lifestyle. More needs to be done, the punishment needs to be a lot higher, maybe even prison, fighting on gear is as dangerous as drink driving.
