… assuming he makes light work of his opponent this evening, Del Boy fights Joshua in New York.

Whyte previously had two offer to fight AJ at Wembley and turned them down. Whyte already has a fight signed up for July and and Hearn says they will announce it next week.

Hearn although didnt rule out Chisora , he didnt seem keen on him as a potential replacement.

If Whyte has the right to pick and choose his fights based on the economics of the deal (and he does) then so can AJ. Chisora will be much cheaper and an easier fight for Joshua's US showcase. It's not a funny world, it's the business world and Dillian been living there a good while.....

I thought a boxer coming of a loss couldn't get a shot at a title unless it's an immidiate rematch?!
Last time I saw Chizzo, he was sleeping on the job.

I can see it happening. Let’s be fair , it’s gonna have to be a fighter who’s already with Hearn to get the deal in place quickly. Chisora has been training for the fight tonight so is ready and David Haye is keen for it.

Golota got his title shot against Lewis coming off 2 losses due to DQ.

Haha. It's a shame this fight might happen now as I would of liked to see him grow into a proper heavyweight before challenging. I worry he might get smoked now and follow the Jennings post Wlad path.

Different situation, as the guy winning the fight (Salido) had lost the belt on the scales before the bout and moved up in weight.
Belt became vacant and Loma got to fight for it again due to the controversial circumstances of his first bid (and because of Arum of course).
    Better example!

Chisora might make sense if he wins tonight.
