I didn’t take the blow, neither did anyone on here or even Crawford so those calling Khan out with big statements like they themselves are some kind of hard as iron mofo are just making themselves look idiotic!

Khan said the blow sent pain down his right leg and into his abdomen, he said he’d never felt that before so, given his fight history of going out on his shield, I’ll take his word that he felt he couldn’t fight on. Amir Khans heart and desire has never been in question, he’s been in far more punishing fights, taken huge shots and has never once shown any sign of being a quitter so I have zero reason to disbelieve him here.

All of that said, He was clearly being outfought by Crawford who on the night looked the much better boxer.
The result wasn’t really in question as Bud was on his game and I wasn’t seeing anything in Khan that could potentially alter the momentum of the fight.

Khan did not look right from the first bell!
He wasn’t moving fluently, he looked sluggish and most shockingly his trademark hand speed was nowhere near what we’ve come to expect.

Maybe age and a career of hard top quality opponents is catching him up or maybe he went through with the fight despite knowing he wasn’t 100%. . . . Whatever!

In the end Crawford showed he’s the best in the world and in my opinion would comfortably beat Spence on the cards or maybe force a late stoppage.

You can clearly see Khan lunge in with his trademark jab and elbow to the back of the neck combo.

Maybe he bet on the fight going into at least the second half of the 'contest'

I played it safe and took the fight to not go the distance at surprisingly good odds of 1/3 which was printing money considering the scale of the mismatch.

lol Khan was definitely "lunging in" trying to land a jab and that lunging in motion is what caused the punch to be so debilitating I think. Bud ducked left to slip the jab and then landed a very low shot. Khan did have his left glove around the back of Crawford after missing the jab but he wasn't pushing his head down or anything like that. They show another angle on the telecast it looks like Khan is jumping in to try to clinch after the jab missed, however if you look at Bud's left glove as it's winding up after he slipped the jab it's extremely low to the ground. It's not as if Khan pulled Bud's head down (like Bud did to Khan the previous round when Khan hit the belt-line) Khan whole body was definitely moving towards Bud at impact trying to clinch but Bud's shot was aimed low regardless.

You've got to be kidding me. Crawford dominated that fight and I don't even like Crawford. A Canelo fan talking about "fixes", irony at it's finest.

First time I've ever seen a fighter quit from a blow to the leg.

Regardless it wouldn't have mattered if there was a fix, Khan was going to lose every round regardless. Different level of fighter Crawford to Khan. They could run that fight back 10 times an Khan would only win a handful of rounds.

Hey clown, I bet on Crawford by KO 7-12. Khan quitting stopped that winning bet. Sit down.

I should have taken that bet. Despite the -278 odds. I picked Crawford by KO and the under of 9.5, but ended up taking the value bet of Crawford to win between 7-12.

Khan quitting due to a thigh shot is what really irks me. If he got hit in the balls, I would just be mad at bad luck.

none of them had their orbital broken, so we will never know.

Fury is a massive Khan fan, we know he got up from a killer blow and continued. Or are you talking about Khan's fans who don't fight? If the latter, when have you judged a fighter on his fans ability to fight? WTF

What we do know is your god (brook) has only had 3 big fights and quit in 2 of them, and never mentions the other coz he doesn't want a rematch with porter

Khan always claimed he had big balls. And they'd have to be if Crawford's low blow to the leg caught them too...

That's exactly what happened. The blow landed low largely because Crawford's entire stance was lowered by Khan pushing him down in the clinch as the punch was being delivered...

Khan has zero inside game, and he knows this. So whenever he's up close he smothers and tries to force the ref's hand to call break. Or, like against Peterson, he illegally pushes fighters away before they can get up close. Both of his coping strategies for this glaring deficiency have cost him in title rights.
