I'd like to see the replay. For me at the time it wasn't clearly stated by the ref that Khan had 5 minutes to recover, just kept asking if he was ready to fight. I was shocked when it ended.

I believe Amir went into the fight with the same gameplan as Kell Brook did against GGG - Have a go for a few rounds and if it becomes apparent you're going to take a bad beating and not win have your corner throw in the towel (or quit like Khan) and save yourself for future big money fights. In Kell's case it backfired and he took so much punishment it ruined him as a top fighter, Amir however did not take enough damage to badly effect his future performances.
