Yes I doubted this at the time but taking on Golovkin and Spence showed that kid was scared of nobody.

Neither was a top Welterweight in 2016. Before he was stabbed I'd comfortably favour him over Crawford

Best, top and greatest are all different things
Best is based of just skill and H2H consideration
Top is the one who's proven the most at the weight
Greatest is the fighter who has the most accolades throughout their entire career

To be all 3 is a massive feat

    For example now (imo)
    Thurman is the top Welterweight
    Spence is the Best
    Crawford is the Greatest

Brook would ruin Crawford now and he's half the fighter he was pre GGG!!!

Wrong. He was Thurman level. Spence and Crawford are better than he ever was.

Agreed. Pre GGG Brook beats Spence in a hard fight

Its a fight he couldn't win, very silly fight to make. Its not like he could even outbox GGG, he certainly couldn't bang with him to gain respect, I don't see what they saw in it being winnable

    Nah man,
Spence doesn't lose at ww, ever.
But before Spence came on the scene brook was clearly the top dog at ww. Still top 3 as worst.
Love to see Crawford try to equal Spence feat by going into brooks back yard and take brook down

I'd favor brook right now, clearly

I disagree, Porter Brook does that, Brook was stabbed in his leg abroad, it seriously diminished his abilities imo

Pre stabbing he was the best, post stabbing he was still top 2/3 and could’ve beat anyone then GGG ruined his face and his confidence

I wouldn't, he's damaged and would struggle to make 147

    I'll bite.

Brook moved up because GGG was a bigger money fight.

GGG never needed to move up because Ward was not a big money fight, if anything Kovalev proved it.

Yeah it was one of the dumbest decisions I can ever think of by a promoter. Brook could have beaten any Welterweight at that point, yet he moves him up two weight divisions to face a monster in his prime in GGG. It's right up there there with Nathan Cleverly taking a voluntary defence against Sergey Kovalev as one of the most dumbest decisions!
