Even Abel Sanchez thought Canelo won the second fight. GGG and his army of fanboys are deluded.

This. GGG deserved the decision in the first fight, but in the second Canelo beat him.

No he didnt, also even if he did, his favoring Canelo would be considered tribalism, so nothing to take serious. His opinion is totally irrelevant as most people thought Canelo lost.

‘Canelo is champion today, he deserves it he fought a great fight’

Anyone that knows how to score a fight and isn’t a GGG groupie knows he lost. Even Abel is honest enough to admit it.

He never said Canelo won and he doesnt outright say Golovkin lost, just that Canelo held his own . So most People in the world including Mexican fans are Golovkin groupies? Try again you waste of space.

He said Canelo was the deserved champion, and expresses absolutely no issue with GGG getting the L. Why you getting emotional? It’s gonna be ok :eaea:

This absolutist bull**** false narrative that Canelo clearly won the second fight, needs to be stamped out with malice as the egregious propaganda that it is. All the Canelo fanboys think they can pull the wool over the eyes of the hapless casuals that read these message boards, that don't properly comprehend that just because the second fight had closer rounds, that doesn't mean the actual match was closer. If anything the rematch should be scored wider for GGG. It was a far more technically complex match than the first, with each man slipping punches that most thought were landing clean. With the subtlest of movements, the footwork, parrying, blocking, and jab from GGG it was a pure joy to watch and he was on point throughout, quite frankly he put on a close quarters defensive masterclass in boxing in the second match. The only possible scores were 116-112 or 117-11 GGG. Canelo did not come close to winning it.

He never outright said Canelo won boy. He simply gave Canelo props for beating Golovkin even though it was a robbery, Canelo held his own, didnt get knocked out and is now the champion, congrats.

Regardless Sanchez supporting Canelo would be an act of tribalism which shouldnt be taken seriously at all.

Everyone knows GGG won both fights comfortably.

The vast majority of commentators/analysts/boxing people gave GGG both fights and fight stats back it up too.

Both fights were won by 4 points+ on the cards.

Although Canelo did better in the second fight in terms of tactics, he still lost by the same margin as the first fight.

I guess I'm one of the few who actually thought the 2nd was more clear victory for GGG.

I felt so too. He actually managed to hurt Canelo the second time round and unquestionably landed the heavier shots. My score is the same for both fights (8-4 to GGG) but it seemed to me that Golovkin was countering better and slipping better.

Same here, first fight was Golovkin doing his usual thing and Canelo running like mad, second time around Golovkin figured how to stop chasing and make Canelo fight him and he beat him even more convincingly. 2 fights, 2 different styles, 2 W for Golovkin and ginger can point at his record all he wants, majority of people know what’s up.
