A question just for the 'everyone / most boxers are on something' crowd. Lets switch this question round. Instead of talking about fighter a or b and voicing your suspicions, I'm interested in which fighters, if any, you think are clean and why? No need to say if you think someone is doping. Jus wondering if there's any consensus on fighters who are clean and what the reasons behind that conclusion are?
Wilder is cleaner than he was. At least he's using less anabolic (growth) drugs than he was a couple of years ago.
I see what you've done here. If people can't definitively identify a clean boxer based only on speculation and cursory studies of nipples, neither can they a juiced one...
I think quite a lot actually. Never bought the "the big boys are all on something" trope, because we've seen time and time again that one of these names suddenly starts juicing away and gets significantly better/stronger as a result. Which means he wasn't on something before or on some hardly mentionable little effective s__t. There would be a lot that are on or just over the edge of what's legal, but not the HGH, Testosterone, Nandrolone, Clenbuterol, EPO type stuff. Heart, asthma and thyroid medication they don't really need but give a slight edge is probably rife in boxing.
Sugar Robert Helenius. No acne, no suspect leaps in power or stamina, no gyno, no roid gut (only a beer gut), no roid rage and never failed a test.
At HW I'd say Dave Allen. Was tempted to say Pulev, but he hangs around with some dodgy geezers so it's not a leap to think that he's using something. Parker might be clean, but I wouldn't want to stake my life on it.
