The example is valid since Peralta And Chuvalo were about the only competitive opponents Foreman was matched with up to the Frazier fight. Going into the Frazier fight, Aside from the two Peralta fights there was not much else to study of Foreman aside from a highlight reel of knockouts. So where is the dishonesty here? Most unusual tactics.

 

Peralta had over a hundred fights and was stopped 3 times,once as a light heavy by Mauro Mina,another as a light heavy by Pastrano on a cut eye, and only once as a heavyweight by Foreman.

Peralta was so tough he only got stopped a couple of times. Marciano so tough he retired before he got stopped.
