Vada isnt perfect and like all other doping agency's they are way behind on to what test people for. They try to win a fight that is very hard to win. I think every fight is on peds. Maybe some journeymans around the rank 50 or so is not.
I would suggest Amir Khan is clean, why go to all the bother of respecting Ramadan and not fighting because of religious beliefs then go against those same beliefs and take drugs.
Then we will never be able to trust an athelete again, ever. We might as well assume every athlete is doping. The suspicions will never cease.
I like to assume and give every boxer the benefit and believe they are all clean (reality no tho) but until proven I think it's best not to accuse any boxer of cheating that includes boxers I do not like . I do have some deep concerns about UFC tho , everything seems a little off with every one of their fighters .
Would you trust any athlete after the scandals that have come out over recent years? I'm happy to take the stance that if you aren't caught you're eligible to compete. That's it.
It's real simple, if you are signed with a non-governmental anti-doping agency like VADA who have credibility... then you are clean. If you are not signed, I suspect you, but I won't call you guilty unless there is proof. I get pretty bored, and senseless with baseless accusations, conjecture, paranoia, hypothesis, conspiracy - it's just silly unproductive time wasting. Miller first DENIED the failure of the first test, proclaiming innocence then LO' AND BEHOLD comes clean after the second and third... he was caught badly by VADA... and this further increased VADA credibility.... Whyte is on it and always pushes for it... AJ is on it... If you were not clean, you would not be opening your mouth about ANY antidoping agency.... Actions speak LOUD AND CLEAR.
VADA does catch people doping, but I strongly believe the the the biggest starts who earn the most and have the biggest backers (promoters, networks) pay them off big bucks. Meaning that a select few who have the financial means to bribe in 7 figures + are doping and appear to be "clean" but are not.
Yea but the whole organisation like VADA, and all the work they do, client relationships, trademark, image history will go down the drain if they get caught being bribed... they wouldn't risk it... because they are all about profits and expansion unlied the government bodies. They stand to make much more money by continuing the great work, then accepting a 7 million figure bribe... their services aren't cheap.. And why would a big backer risk 7 million to bribe VADA... when it is not guaranteed to win them a fight if they are doping... 7 figures is huge amount even for the big boys... to be risking their own credibility if found out.... All seems like a stretch...
my stance exactly I also think there are a lot of misconceptions as to what PEDs do. They arent merely going to change your physique or stamina on their own. They allow fighters to train harder and longer which allows them to achieve better results. I graduated high school 10 years ago, kids were taking it then because the pressure to get a scholarship was high. Kids in college do it to get to the pros. The "my competition is doing it so I need to do it" is a very powerful driver for PED use in all sports. Testing has continued to improve but they are always going to be a step behind the drugs
Why proclaim your faith in Jesus then have a dozen kids out of wedlock and take designer drugs to give you an edge? Athletes are funny like that.
No, if you don't test dirty you're eligible to compete. Nothing else can and should be said about you.
So, the all the guys that do USADA testing have credibility too? Despite the "US(A)" in the name, also a non-governmental agency.
