True but Canelo's a much better fighter now than then and Canelo is one of the reasons that Khan now slurs his words. I do think Crawford is a very, very good fighter though.
Canelo would knock that Crawford out cold. There's a reason why Crawford fought Canelo's leftover and not Canelo himself. When you're getting stunned by a little washed up Gamboa, and constantly getting tagged by a joke like Amir Khan, you simply don't qualify as someone who can walk away from the fight, without getting KO'ed by Canelo.
Nothing suggests at this moment Crawford would win Could he win possibly but I wouldnt favor him I mean Brook fought admirably vs Golovkin Khan performed well vs Canelo Both were stopped in the first half of the fight I get the idea the fight would be of that variety. Crawford would do well and maybe build a lead but I dont see him winning Now if he went to 154 and beat Charlo or Hurd or Harrison with complete and total ease then I would reconsider but even then its another 6 pounds and Canelo is a level above those guys
It definitely can but he cannot be sloppy like he was against Khan. I think this was because he did not respect Khan. Basically he needs to do to Canelo what Mayweather did and I believe he has the skill sets to do that.
You are seriously underrating Crawford if you think he loses to any version of Kell Brook. Can you imagine Crawford ever going life and death with a Carson Jones calibre fighter? He is far above that level.
I agree with your premise, but to say Trout/Lara are Crawford level is just not accurate. GGG is very skilled and has the results and accomplishments to prove it, so again I agree with that part. Lara/Trout while skilled and respectfully accomplished aren't on Crawford's level. He's been an undisputed champion, a 3 division champion, is undefeated, and rated top 1 or 2 in most P4P lists. The OP's hyperbole is full potato, which is why I say I agree with your premise.

These type of threads are goofy, Canelo is built like a tank. He'd destroy Crawford. By that I mean he'd eventually knock him silly, and that's no knock on Crawford who is either #1 or 2 p4p IMO. Size matters. Let's be honest, Crawford would lose to everyone in the top 5 of the MW division.
