Why do people defend Canelo?

    Better question is why hate Canelo? What is he doing that long boxing fans have never seen previously? He's the main guy that will be keeping the sport you love alive for the foreseeable future. He should have undivided support win lose or draw as one of, if not the biggest face left in the game......

    This is the reason I defend him because idiots still say dumb things like this, He ducked ggg for "years " plz explain this? How many years are you talking about? And how can you duck someone who you already fought twice that's just stupid

    I'll give you Deryrachenko, GGG did actually give up his belt to fight Martirosyan.
    Ward on the other hand was a division above GGG and then moved up another Division.
    Canelo was obliged to face Golovkin as mandatory. He vacated rather than either fight at 160, or fight GGG

    He was ducking GGG who was his mandatory, instead he took a voluntary against Amir Khan, a Defence against Liam Smith and then after giving away his belt he fought Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
    He only fought GGG when he had slowed down, not when he was supposed to in 2016

    The problem is he is the face of boxing and doing it. I personally don't hate and pointed out that he is doing great things for boxing. But his mixture of Failed drug tests, dodgy decisions and weight bullying give a fair few reasons to

    And has since fought GGG twice coming out with a victory in one of them. Kinda negates the entire concept of "ducking" someone don't you think?

    Boxing NEEDS open scoring .
    That's the only way fighters have NO EXCUSE. They know after 4 then after 8,

    That gives both teams 4 more rounds to win the fight

    What ****ing sport HIDES the ****ing Scores. Enough is enough
