    No.

Literally NOWHERE in ANY of my posts (or the people you accuse as far as I know) did i suggest it was illegal or that you were stupid for daring to suggest one professional boxer could beat another.

We are sick and tired of you making illogical arguments and then refusing to back down even after people have pointed out the holes in them. A perfect example is you using Ali dropping Foreman as evidence that anyone who hit as hard or harder than Ali could do the same while deliberately ignoring HOW Ali pulled off the KO and the fact Marciano and Ali were polar opposites in size, style, etc. Had Ali simply blasted foreman iut in 1-2 rounds your argument would have some merit, but tne facts of the matter are that Ali had to use incredible defense, slipping, and countering to pull off the knockout, skills we seldom see from Rocky.

Hence why i called you dishonest because this is the THIRD time ive explained this to you. You have a HISTORY of ignoring people who take the time to thoroughly break things down and then you simply shift the goal posts or repeat the same idiotic arguments hoping no one will notice or give up.

Mcvey, mrkoolkevin, McGrain, myself, and over half a dozen other posters have ALL SAID THE SAME THING after patiently trying to reason with you. On MANY occasions. You are thick headed.

Rocky was an aggressive short armed swarmer. He was 30 lbs lighter and several inches shorter than Ali. By all means explain how Ali's elusive counter punching style while laying on the ropes is relevant to the discussion? Unless you have examples of Rocky doing these things the Zaire fight is irrelevant. Foreman lost because he punched himself out against an elusive defensive target. That and the young fight are the only examples of him running out of steam and it isnt a coincidence both were against slick movers. Unless you honestly think Rocky is going to make foreman miss more than half his punches and take him into deep waters?!?

I never ignored the business of Ali exhausting Foreman. In my latest posts I openly asked to debate whether Marciano could get George as tired. Initially after BlackCloud came out of the dark and bumped this old thread, I simply started responding to claims that it would be “easy for Foreman” by laying down overlooked points like the right hands Gullick hit him with, the inexperience of George, the difference of Marciano to Frazier, the gassing of George, the survival of a sub 200lb opponent etc. The tone of it was always on “nothing is a certainty” and only toward outright dismissal of the smaller great fighter.

is this the illogical argument I used?

This is the post that instigated the “well Technically, Marciano only has to hit as hard as Ali did” response. Mcvey was implying Marciano has to hit as hard as Foreman did otherwise he can’t knock Rocky out. A bizarre statement implying a man has to be hit only as hard as he himself can hit in order to be knocked out. Well everyone knows George hit harder than Ali. Technically (note the use of the word technically) the punch that knocked out George was not as hard. So it is a valid point. I have already said I am happy to debate whether it is possible (or not) that Marciano can get George tired.

This is a fair point that Can be subscribed to.

And this is another reasonable assumption with some possibilities in a fantasy fight. Nothing can be a certainty.
