    If that's true, it's just a blatant duck by Ortiz. Bettering his previous best purse by ten times wasn't enough? For the chance to win three major titles? Crazy.

    If true, it means he's either afraid of getting caught in testing or that he's gambling on a Wilder rematch which he feels is much more winnable. Can't see it any other way.

    I guess I don't see the issue, if they are bringing in all this cash, whats the problem with 10 million?

    Yep blatant duck by Ortiz by pricing himself out.

    $10 mill is ludicrous, that's 20 times his previous highest purse. Any other heavyweight asking for that for Joshua or Wilder would be said to be ducking the fight.

    Hilarious, if true. I find it extremely unlikely he will ever earn $5,000,000 combined the rest of his career. Some people become more wise with age. Some simply just get old.

    So what sticks out to you is not Ortiz turning down a purse ten times higher than his previous best, for three major titles, but him not being paid substantially more than Miller?

    AJ has the division shook. How many fighters now have claimed not enough money offered?

    It's now become the default excuse for turning down a fight but worryingly the fight fans seem to lap it up.

    These guys simply don't believe they can win.
