Of course it has. Previous pay days is a strong indication of what one will earn the next time. Ten times your previous best is damn, damn, damn good - especially if you're 40 and don't have too many prospects left. To demand double that isn't realistic by any measure.

Each fight promotion is it's own entity. He knows what they budgeted for the challenger's purse. If he's the challenger, he should get what's budgeted for the challenger.

More people in the UK would likely stay up to watch Joshua-Ortiz than Joshua-Hunter, Ruiz or even Miller.
