I hope he does offer him the same. Just so we can see Ortiz still punk out and you move the goalposts as to why that's a legitimate stance and Hearn is to blame. It'd be as funny as watching idiots claim that everyone was afraid to face Ortiz for as long as they did.
Why can't Ortiz accept the offer.... why does it have to be Hearn giving Ortiz more??? Hearn put this ****ing thing together... Ortiz did **** all... he is replaceable.... he is obselete... he has no bargaining power.... it is ORTIZ that should stfu and accept not Hearn giving more... The show can go on with or without Ortiz.... Hearn is doing Ortiz a ****ing favour bringing him out of the DARKNESS INTO THE LIGHT....
I don't like MMA but you have to give it to the UFC guys, they're nearly always willing to get down at short notice. I can't imagine a champion in their code struggling to find a contender willing to step up with 6 weeks prep and 5m on the table. They'd have the whole damn weight category banging down the door saying they want the fight.
@Dubblechin @f1ght3rz @NoNeck @chico g @Max Thunder Luis Ortiz told Boxing Scene: “So look, if you want to fight I’m here and stop saying I priced myself out because I’ve never had no offers to fight you. With all respect to you for all you have done, I’ll fight you for just about any money you offer me, so if you can’t work out the Miller fight, I’m here and ready. “I’ll fight you in the USA or UK. It’s on you and if you think you’re that good and want to test yourself, who better than me? Wilder and Fury are not available and I believe in my heart to be the best, you must face the best" @Aydamn tells BoxingForum24: LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL YEAH SURE BUDDY.
Well said, literally those guys will fight for even 500K they would step in 2 weeks notice no fuss at all. They know they can bounce back so what go in and have a crack... they don't give a **** about their 0's. And here we have prima donna Ortiz wanting 10 Million lmao GTFO
Hearn should just offer him what he offered Miller and be done with it. Did Hearn do that? Did he offer Ortiz what he offered Miller? You're the king of the quotes. Find that.
You know I have defended Whyte here in some pretty dark times, but you genuinely take the cake here in defending Ortiz given his current situation and circumstances. People question my reasons for supporting Whyte.... what are you reasons for defending Ortiz??? Is this an USA/UK thing? Are you upset that Hearn has the leverage, the money, the bigger star... most of the belts?? Does it offend your national pride?
If I had to bet it will be the same as what Miller was getting. Hearn goes in low, Ortiz goes in high, they settle on what Miller was going to get (probably the deal they both had in mind all along). The old classic.
I'm not defending Ortiz. I said YET AGAIN he should take the offer. I said that to you like an hour ago. Offer him the money allocated for Miller and make the fight. Ortiz does not diminish the promotion at all. If anything, the promotion gets a boost because Ortiz is a better known commodity. If they were going to pay Miller $6 million. Give Ortiz $6 million and be done with it. That's the budget. If they offered him five and Miller was going to get six, he knows there's a million they have budgeted for the challenger he's not getting. There's no reason they shouldn't give it to him. Hearn's just screwing things up and playing games by not giving it to him. Just give Ortiz what they were going to give Miller - no more and no less - and make it a great night for everyone. All I want to see are the top guys fighting.
Ortiz is silly for turning down $5m but not sure why people are saying it's great seeing UFC fighters accept small money for opportunities. Some of the fight salaries in UFC are terrible and that kind of promoting shouldn't be applauded.
Where the hell did that come from? I don't give a flying **** where anyone is from. I want to see the best guys fight. I wanted to see Joshua-Usyk, or Joshua-Whyte II or Joshua-Ortiz at MSG on June 1. NONE of them, by the way, are from the US. The only guy from the US in this scenario is Hunter, and he's the last freaking guy I think should get a title shot. So to hell with that bull. I'm not one of the idiots around here going "Mike Hunter is pretty dangerous." or "Andy Ruiz is the toughest guy available." Hell, I thought Andy Ruiz lost to Sergei Liakhovich. Joshua-Ruiz is like GGG-Rolls. I WANT GOOD FIGHTS.
