Shows where Ortiz pulled the $10 million figure from, since they offered Miller nearly $11 million ($6 million deferred) to make the MSG fight.

If the $5mil includes a % of the UK PPV ala Miller’s purse, then yeah there is no defending Ortiz (well there isn’t really much you can say now either). It’s 100% a duck if that post is accurate.

 

Didn't they offer Whyte more then $5 million a while back which he refused,if so Ortiz would be deserving of at least as much if not more then Whyte

 

It's an $11 million deal that included the Joshua fight. Miller wasn't getting the "comeback fights" money if he didn't fight Joshua.

And Miller isn't getting it now.

Money , money , money . Could of offered Ortiz 20 million and he still would of refused it because it's not his choice , it's PBC's choice . Ruiz will refuse and so too did Kownacki . Apparently , even AJ outside his fortress in the UK and on away soil for first time is not enough . Record high paydays , still not enough . High sales , still not enough . I bet this will hurt PBC and the US in the long-term .

After the Wilder-Fury fight and now this shambles of American "challengers" , I hope Hearn leaves the US to the dogs in HW boxing , Europe and the rest of the world is far more lucrative , better and easier to do business with . PBC are actually hanging themselves , changed their business model to some bunker mentality .

Ortiz wasn't going to take the fight anyway, asking for 10 requires more negotiation time which equals Hearn offering 5 million because he has no time to play games ,something team Ortiz is second only to team Wilder. lol
