What would they get per fight at the following levels 4 or 6 round journeymen British title standard Euro to fringe world level I'm not talking the heavyweights where there's more money I'm thinking about fly to lightheavy How hard is it for the fighters to go full time, at what level does it pay for them..
It is near impossible for fighters to go full time unless they have a good sponsor that can keep them going from week to week, once they reach British level then it becomes easier to go full time as you are more likely to get on TV and then larger sponsors will be willing to help out. But tbh there is loads of fighters out there boxing for British/Commonwealth and even Euro titles that are boxing on small hall shows for not a lot of money.
It's sad that there's so much physical risk for such little financial reward except at the top of the layer cake.
I used to know of journeymen getting between 400 to 1,000 quid per fight. 1,000 being the exception rather than the norm. As for local boxers, they generally rely on ticket sales to make their money so depending on how popular they are you could maybe be looking at 1,000 - 4,000 per fight. Depends who you're fighting too. I know of one of Tyson Fury's really early opponents getting 10k to fight him.
If you have a good manager a journeyman is a very rewarding profession my mate gets his fighters 1000 a fight minimum. If you have a full time job and be a top journeyman you can have a very comfortable life!
There is even shyte on the top layer of the cake instead of cream earning multi millions of pounds extracted from the PPV Mugths
Yeah you can make a grand a week being a journeyman and have a full time job at the same time. Not a bad living at all. Just have to avoid getting stopped.

My guess Journeymen between £500-1000 a fight on average. British title between 20-50k depending who you are of course. Euro to fringe world level 50k and above. Bellew got 80k for his Euro title fight against Masternak and that was Matchroom on SKY so many will get paid less. Fury got 1 million to fight Cunningham in 2013 this was before he was considered world level so it varies greatly.
I think most British title fights would be at the lower end of that range in most cases I am assuming this on the basis that the top prize in Prizefighter from memory was £32k. It says a lot about the lack of money in domestic boxing that a lot of reigning and contender level British title fighters were prepared to enter this tournament and run the risk of defeat/injury for £32k
I doubt it with a 19 year career. Let's say he got a grand a fight at the end and fought 12 times a year 12k before the taxman, manager/trainer . I'm sure there's easier ways.. You've gotta respect your local journeyman.
Maybe if he was living in Zimbabwe and taking his pounds there... 300 x £1k is hardly enough to retire on...
I am going to guess you are wrong. The few journeymen I knew of, barely got more than expenses for fights, maybe a couple hundred if lucky. I also knew a British title holder in the 1990s who was still working whilst fighting. He got a fight in South Africa and his pay was a holiday... There is not a lot of money in boxing for even the top 5% of British fighters. You need to get media coverage to start making a proper living from boxing.
