    Its not Ortiz being scared

    Its Haymon blocking the bout

Him being an ADVISER & Defacto promoter is a HUGE conflict of interest

He has now promised Ortiz a Wilder rematch...

Never heard of an advisor, ADVISING his guys to turn down career high paydays. Odd

honestly we shouldn't let this rest....and then team ortiz comes out and says they didn't send a contract and in the same paragraph says they low balled? so first you cant make up your mind was there a contract or not then you say low balled? and now we are learning it is around 5mil, so how is that a low ball? what?

AJ is the king and the boogeyman of the HWD , deal with it haters

No. Haymon didn't make Ortiz do anything.

Jay Jimenez (Ortiz' manager) and Ortiz chose to turn down more than $5m. If they wanted to take the fight, they would have taken the fight.

Yep, this is what I think, I'm trying to give Ortiz the benefit of the doubt regarding the "on cycle" idea, so only this makes sense... Surely Luis isn't that stupid? Has to be a Haymon decision

Ortiz's old as hell, shot to shi.t and gambling his chances on Wilder

and the offer was more than Miller and ALOT more than $5m too according to hearn

What the hell has Haymon promised Ortiz????

Whilst I wouldn't put it past Haymon the fact is we don't know if a lot of his fighters use his silence as an excuse to duck fights they don't want on other promotions.

I think that might be the case more than we think and I hate the fact PBC isn't providing us with the fights I hoped and thought it would be putting on.

For what? Why would Povetkin pay him 5m to come over and fight him when he holds no title?

Gaymon also advised Danny and Broner to duck Pac a few years back for career high paydays.

A Matchroom fighter failed his drug test ... let's figure out a way to blame Al Haymon for this mess because Eddie Hearn can't talk and think at the same time ... and all he does is talk!!!

If Andy Ruiz is next, it'll mean FOUR of Joshua's EIGHT title fights have come against PBC fighters.

How many Matchroom fighters has Joshua faced in title fights? Two (and one of the two - Takam - was a late sub.)

Maybe Eddie Hearn should stop depending on others to supply him with heavyweight challengers. He's got a few top heavyweights of his own. Maybe he should give them a shot at Joshua.

Very interesting to me why Ortiz and team has turned it down......

Let's all get real here, he would have to sign up to VADA that's the reason.

I wonder what leverage haymon has on his fighters. Did the fighters sell their souls or something? WTH.
