Would Anatoly Lomachenko be a good fit for GGG as a trainer?

    What do you think?

While Anatoly is a great trainer, a boxer & trainer have to fit together...

He is a totally different fighter then Loma & Usyk, I cant see him using their style he does not have their foot speed/hand speed, & while skilled IMO he is a few notches below them.

A plus would be him being trained around Elite fighters like Loma & Usyk, being in a setting with elite fighters. Also him & Anatoly would be able to communicate through speaking Russian.

GGG IMO best style is when he is seeking & destroying, a worry would be if Anatoly tried to make him fight like Loma...

No, their styles wouldn't mesh very well.

If they had worked together earlier on in Golovkin's career probably, but now I don't think there's not enough time to sculpt him in even a quarter way Lomachenko housestyle, which wouldn't really benefit a someone who already lost a step and is on the tail end of his career.

Antanoly would have to create a new style with him, and just focus on his offence, much less footwork and defence. Like Lomachenko's offense with GGGs power, that would be scary

I know Footwork comes into offence, but I mean don't have him outboxing peoeple and circling away from them

Can't really imagine that Lomachenko starts training anyone aside from Loma and Usyk. Especially given Golovkin's age and style, I'm not sure he would be ready for radical changes in training process - surely, Anatoly's methods are by mile more creative and agile than what Sanchez was doing with Golovkin over many years.

No, because Golovkin is the stiffest of the stiffs. Slowest of the slows. Has practically nonexistent hand-eye coordination, agility, fluidity, mobility and range of motion for a boxing guru like Anatoly Lomachenko to be wasting his time on. Golovkin is not even worthy enough to be associated with the name 'Lomachenko' which is the prime definition of what it means to be an athlete. Since Golovkin is the absolute example of an anti-athlete who is a disgrace to the athletic side of boxing.

The fact that fools have been fooled by this insane hype job and fraud in Golovkin, just goes to show how questionable this society is, as a whole.

I would say rather no. But it doesn't even matter — Papachenko won't train him. He trains only Loma.

Wouldn't say he trains Usyk, probably gives him a few bits to do and holds his corner some times. He's completely devoted to Loma Jr.

Actually does anyone know if Usyk has found a full-time trainer yet?

As for Golovkin, way too late for him to train with Papachenko and make it worthwhile. Someone like Garcia or McGirt would be ideal.

I think people who don't think GGG has good footwork need to go and watch the Canelo rematch.

If he hasn't then he is an even more incredible talent to do everything he has done without a trainer!

I can’t see Anatoly having much patience for GGG, since Abel catered to GGG while Anatoly doesn’t even cater to own his son, so I doubt a fighter-trainer relationship between GGG and Anatoly would work. Somebody like Roach would probably get along better with GGG.
