Does anyone know if a new boxing game is in the works? I heard that because EA is focused on UFC, we wont get a new boxing video game anytime soon but its been so long since the last one! I can only imagine how fun a new game would be with all these new faces in boxing that we havn't been able to play as before like GGG, LOMA, USYK, CRAWFORD, SPENCE, and countless others, hell even Canelo wasn't in Fight Night Champion.

I recently started playing Fight Night Champion on my ps3 again and if anybody wants to add me, it's sf_nick_returns. Catch me online and lets do battle.

This video from January. Brian Hayes is the Creative Director for the UFC games and worked on 2004, Round 2, Round 4, and FN Champion. He's trying to talk to EA about it. Basically says they have a contract with the UFC to make their games and they'd have to find the time in between or after to get a new Fight Night out.

That game is trash. There was a rumor of a company out of New Zealand working on a boxing title but thats an indie developer so who knows. As far as I know there are no studios planning any boxing titles.

It would be be great (UFC 3 is a good and popular game), but it won’t happen because promoters and networks would argue.
Probably even fighters, who should have the higher rating.

Fight night series is dead as long as ufc casuals are around EA will ignore our demographic.

There was a game talked about here before can’t remeber the name... looked promising.

Brian Hayes (who ive personally spoken too btw) is a nice guy but hes full of crap and id rather have a new development team on any future fight night games. Brian was a step up from Tsudo or whatever the previous lead developers name was but he is too formulaic and doesn't really add anything revolutionary to the game. Him and his team have done an ok job with UFC but it still hasn't reached the level of the UFC games that were made by THQ.
We had a group chat before FNC was released and they promised a bunch of stuff would be in the game that ended up not being in the game and when later questioned on it all we got were excuses or simply side stepping the questions. EA is a crap company and people really need to boycott anything they produce.

I don’t understand why. A new FNC would sell like hot cakes, better then any ufc game imo. There has been so many new exciting fighters since the last one back in...what was it, ‘09?

I thought Hearn had plans to make a new game, could be interesting for DAZN and their fighters to support it...

Like hot cakes to the US black & Latino markets but they/EA don’t typically cater to those markets other then FIFA but that is on the world level.

I for one would buy but I’m not their target demographic.
