No, he'd school King Arthur by shutout unanimous decision, hitting the body while Abraham kept behind that silly turtle shell all night and then whiffed on his intermittent telegraphed power shots in the second half. If anything Felix Sturm would be a harder match-up for GGG, because at least his jab would give his a run for its money. Pavlik and Taylor from that era both get TKO'ed (or knocked out cold) within 7-8 rounds, too little defense & chin respectively to survive the distance against GGG.

Now, the intriguing one is Maravilla. Could he out-slick GGG over the long haul and take a decision, or would he get KTFO? Flip a damn coin.

Pretty much this. Loves AA, but think 3G would win wide.

How could GGG lose to a guy that throws ten punches a round.

GGG would eat up Abraham. He would pile up points and damage while Abraham would wait to counter in spurts. GGG is way to smart to get caught by Abraham. I think GGG is too much for all of the guys from that post B-Hop era: Felix Sturm, Abraham, Anthony Mundine, Jermain Taylor, Kelly Pavlik.

As IB said, Sergio Martinez is the most intriguing match up, but for all Sergio's outstanding strengths, he also showed vulnerability in most of his wins, with lapses in stamina, faltering concentration, flash knock downs etc. I guess that duality between having outrageous, off the charts strengths coupled with a number of liabilities is part of what made his fights must-watch tv for years.

I guess what I'm saying is that I could see Sergio scrapping past GGG one time out of a three fight series if he had a night where he was really on fire, but that's about it.

AA was a notoriously slow starter. Would not help to be down 0-6 entering the second half.

    Beat me to the punch.

The left hook to the body is kryptonite to the turtle shell. Prime GGG remembered he had one of the most devastating ones in the game.
