what does reynoso get for canelo, freddie for pac? im sure robert and anatoly are on a different scale, being family, but how much does anatoly deserve for getting usyk through the super 6? give us those numbers so we have something to compare.

I think you might confuse GGG with that lowlife street hoodlum Juiceshua who is the biggest roid freak in boxing.

Abel actually did setup everything beforehand and told everyone what they were going to be paid. However, at the end of the first day GGG changed his mind on what the sparring partners were worth and what they should be paid, which pissed off the fighters and Tolik, the gym owner. My roommate at the time was one of those pissed off fighters.

Also, it depends on the fighter, since when Stiverne had a short camp at the fight factory he paid his sparring partners cash after they signed a release saying they got paid and that the amount was correct. I didn’t bother asking him why he did this, but I assume he did it because he didn’t trust Don to pay his sparring partners.

I heard Roach was getting $1 million for most of Pacquiao's fights. That's only because Pac is so generous, he pay his cutman $50,000.

No idea how much Reynoso gets since it's not public. DLH offered Mayweather Sr. $500k to train him to fight his son, Floyd Mayweather (DLH ending up making $52 million for that fight). I read somewhere DLH eventually ended up paying Roach $200k-$500k to train him for his fight against Mayweather.

Yes, 10% is standard, but that's only up to a certain point. High profile fighters almost always negotiate a flat rate.

Exactly. How many trainers do we see "living the high life"?

flyd sr, did not help build dlh into a star, like roach did pac, or reynoso did canelo, or abel did golovkin. dlh-mayweather isnt applicable, situations are different.

Abel didn't build GGG a star. GGG built GGG into a star. GGG was already an elite fighter when he met Abel. Don't even compare those situations.

The past doesn't determine the present. The present does. GGG did what any smart fighter would have done in his position, renegotiate.

GGG was an Olympic champion, not some kid he found off the streets.

And like I said, the past doesn't determine the present. Fighters, especially high earning ones regularly negotiate with their trainers once they become stars. Do you think Roger Mayweather deserve $25 million for Mayweather's fight against Pacquiao? That's 10% right there. I bet you he didn't get within sniffing distance of that amount. So don't tell me about loyalty and all that nonsense. It's about business.

i aint telling you about anything, and youre getting awfully defensive, whats up? you started throwing all kinds of examples, like you knew something about the figures involved, so i was hoping you could share them. turns out you know less than whats already been covered.

Every time someone post the facts and they can't handle it, they pull the "you're being defensive" card. No, you're being obtuse.

The numbers are there. It's your choice to pretend that they don't exist. Stop living in a fantasy world.
