I got hit hard in the side of the cup a few times and it definately hurt. But maybe cups were different quality in the eighties than they are now, who knows... Btw, I also got hit & kicked hard squarely in the middle of the cup and it also hurt bad, so yea....

Saunders performance based solely on boxing skills against Lemieux was more impressive than GGG's but GGG stopped Lemieux and Saunders didn't. Same applies with Crawford and Canelo. Saunders skillset is a little more impressive than GGG's, but GGG's got that great equalizer, Crawford's skillset is a little more impressive than Canelo's, but Canelo's got that great equalizer. Now drop it you ****ing lunatic.

When did Kovalev turn his back? He was bent over after being hit in the nuts repeatedly.

Not the final sequence, earlier in the fight.

Khan had so moments and landed some shots, but to read your OP one would think Khan had Crawford staggered and Crawford low blowed to get out of serious trouble to get out of it. You can't deny, Khan was getting whooped and would had continued to get whooped.

Do you honestly think if Khan thought he was winning or was turning the tide in the fight he would have quit with less than 1 minutes rest, when he could have taken 5? Regardless if the low blow was intentional or accidental, he would of kept going if had had put Crawford down and was staggering him. I bet my life on that!

I pretty sure he thought there was a break after he complained. Regardless that's not literally quitting. He got up from two devastating KD's against Alvarez. Kovalev would rather be knocked unconscious than to quit. That being said. I don't hold it against Khan, he gets a pass in my book.

Is that also why he ran away when he got popped with that right hand to the jaw that started that whole process seems you have a short memory of what happened right before wards low blows

It doesn't matter what you guys might have thought WOULD happen if not for the low blows. Doesn't matter if anyone thinks Kov was on his way out. The video clearly shows low blow before the ref stopped it. THAT is what matters. The ref dropped the ball on that call.

Ward was hitting low way before kovalev was hurt, he basically did it all the time.

For the record, I felt that Weeks should have given Kovalev a count instead of just stopping it. He deserved to go out on his sword and not by a questionable stoppage.

That would have been at the very LEAST, acceptable, under the circumstances.

Ward only landed that big right because he punched kov in the balls before. Kovalev had his hands down and was slightly bending forward cause of disconfort. Prime kovalev would actually never walk into such a right hand.

I would love to defend khan as a fan of his but in his post fight he said he would need to watch it back to see if it was low, er why you felt it didn’t you? Says he was confused as to why he didn’t take 5?
