Román is trying again to rip a high left hook but can't bottle lightning twice, finding Doheny hard to fool with his many attempts to cut the ring off and trap him. Doheny gliding around the ring, avoiding the ropes, popping right jabs between Román's eyes and threading in the left hand while remaining out at safe distance. Román is able to facilitate some furious body shot exchanges and gets the best of those, but on the outside it has been all Doheny.

Round 4

Román is working uppercuts off the jab on a hard forward drive, pinning Doheny against the ropes and seems to buzz him a minute or so in. Doheny is able to escape but can't fend Román off with his southpaw 1-2. Román just eating lefts walking in and taking big swings up top with the left hook. Doheny is able to lean aside, dodging, then pounding full-blast lefts into the face until Román is forced to relent and take a backward step or two. Nice action. Román pumps a few jabs into the guard coming forward again, wild uppercut misses. Doheny loads up a 1-2, blocked. Huge overhand left by Doheny, pulled as Román slides backward to dodge it. Underhanded left on the body from Doheny running in. BIG looping right on the bottom of the jaw by Román.
