    Román is starting to bore his way in by force, throwing hard 1-2s and triple-jabs, drawing blood from Doheny's nose. Román is able to slip a Doheny southpaw cross and counter with a sneaky right bang on the nose, almost dropping him, Doheny's glove coming inches from brushing the canvas. Doheny is backed up as Román slams him with giant left hooks and right hands, Doheny tossing punches back at him and coming forward in the last fifteen seconds, but the damage is done, especially to his face, now spurting.

    Crazy that we still can't say this is the best fight in this weight class at this venue involving a fighter with Román's precise nickname and ethnic background ...lol, so many very specific variables...

    And yet, this is CLEARLY the second best fight to meet all those criteria. :deal: With a bullet.

    Hell, you can subtract all the stuff about Román being of Mexican descent and being called the Baby Faced Assassin.

    This is probably already the second best super bantam contest at the Forum...and up there among the best seen there in any weight class across its 2-decade plus history. :deal:
