I'm surprised Prograis don't get more attention here and in general to the boxing fans...He's everything you would want a boxer to be...Fast, strong, explosive, hits hard, want to put a show and not just win boring fights. And, most importantly, wants to fight the very best. Why the lack of love? Thoughts...
Agreed.I said the same thing on the british forum. The turnout for him was poor. He's got a chip on his shoulder and rightly so, Hes a dangerous man!
He’s only been in the spotlight for his last 3 fights.. trust if he wins the tourney then beats Ramirez he’ll get the attention.. And if he by chance happen to get the Mikey fight he’ll have more eyeballs also.. He just need the opponents which is guaranteed in his near future
He will win the tournament and he surely will beat Ramirez! And if Garcia don't duck him he will ring his bell too! He is the truth at 140.
Prograis is still prospect-ish, but I agree, he's not talked about much. He needs a high profile name like Broner, Vargas, etc.. Beating Flanagan and Relikh doesn't boost much for his public profile. Emerging ass the winner of the WBSS will, though.
Rougarou is the real f'n deal. He doesn't make the noise other "names" do here and flies a little under the radar in NOLA, but his time is now. People seem to be catching on- better late than never! WAR PROGRAIS
I like his attitude...He's confident, even a bit cocky but seems down to earth, humble hard-working individual outside the ring...
Agree a big name win will realy help him...Just to win the tournament with the final win over Taylor (don't see Baranchyk beating him) will really boost his credentials.
Prospect-ish? He's a world champion now you ****ing idiot. And lol @ beating Broner. Relikh is better than Broner. AB would be a waste of time for Rougarou. AB is a gatekeeper now.
So what, dickhead? Belts can mean ****. Relikh was a weak ass champ whose best wins were Barthelemy and Troyanovsky. If you want to call last night a great win, go for it. Flanagan sucks as well.
Not that many good fighters come from Lou-sana. The gulf coast messing them up or something in the gumbo.
I was singing his Praises in the British forum. I think he's great. As has been said, he is the complete package, he has it all, just needs that big signature win. I think him and Taylor are easily the best two in the division, and we need to see who'd win out of them before we can have a number 1 and thankfully the WBSS might just get us that fight. I think Taylor will beat Baranchyk but I'm not totally dismissing Baranchyk either, Taylor will need to be at his best to beat him. If we do get Prograis vs Taylor then I struggle to pick a winner there. I rate the two of them very highly. I think Prograis will be the bookies' favourite but that's a 50/50 fight in my eyes.
