Canelo vs Jacobs Predictions

I think it will be very close but Canelo should take it on the cards (not controversially).

It’s a shame for Canelo because he’s absolutely brilliant and the first thing people say about him is “he robbed GGG” then after that it’s the tainted meat. People forget about how good he actually is and he’s growing more and more in to the weight now, he’s an absolute tank.

 

Yeah physically I’m just in awe of him. That neck... The way he absorbed all of GGG’s punches... Jacobs sure as hell ain’t knocking him out.

Canelo points win, a clear one with no controversy.

 

It’s a mouthwatering fight but can’t see past a Canelo stoppage win. I reckon Jacobs will start fast and show his class but Canelo’s body shots will slow him right down. Once this happens, he’ll cut the distance down and Jacobs will get sparked.

 

Expect Canelos class to show here. Clear UD or bodyshot KO for Canelo.

 

Alvarez is a great boxer but he also deserves some of the criticism he gets, he took a substance he shouldn't have taken to gain an advantage, he cheated, he probably did it a lot too.

Alvarez on points, I'd like to see him lose because I don't agree with the scoring of the two GGG fights, I can't see past an Alvarez win though.

 

You have predicted a couple of fights recently mate so im gonna stick a few quid on that!

I really want Jacobs to win, his story is fascinating and I really rate him as a fighter...He comes across as a decent guy so would love to see him beat Canelo but I just don't see it happening.

Canelo has gone up another level in recent times imo. 18 months ago I would of give this 50/50 but Cabell will stop Jacobs now.

 

There's an argument that Jacobs handled Golovkin better than Canelo did. A younger Golovkin too. I think this is a close fight but Canelo wins because Jacobs can't knock him out, nor get the nod from the judges.
