    Vargas would beat the **** outta both those Charlo clowns. Anybody who thinks otherwise is a boxing newbie.

    Vargas pre chito wrap beating beats Charlo Aslong as he trained. He came out of shape vs winky and lost that fight.

    The only reason Fernando got the dec over wright is because they already had the quartey fight lined up.
    To bad Fernando took Wright lightly.
    Wright won the fight outright.
    Outlander and outworked him, won 7 rounds minimum.

    Pre Hoya Vargas wins by UD

    Im not trying to be biased here or put the older fighter on a pedestal but the last 154lber Id pick against a pre Hoya Vargas would be Hoya himself.

    Canelo fight is close n I could see that going either way I guess but Id favor Vargas there. I think Vargas would dictate the action but I do wonder how his chin holds up as the fight progresses and Canelo lands a few bombs.

    A Mayweather fight would be close due to Mayweathers level of operation. But I dont think Mayweather has the physical dimensions or power to be able to control the fight against Vargas.

    And prime Martinez would be close. I see this being an all time great fight with the two of them trading knockdowns through the rounds. But I think Vargas is systematically better and is a better inside fighter, where his strength and physicality would prove the difference imo.

    Id give those three a good chance but other than that I think Vargas takes the rest.

    He just so happened to compete against two ATGs that matched up with him very well at an early age.

    Sidenote.
    Winky fought a Vargas that had only been past 7 rounds one time and had never gone the distance before.

    And the fight was a draw on many peoples scorecards back in the day.

    Though yes it does seem most people have Winky edging it 7 to 5.

    Was a great fight.

    Yeah, but Vargas was in very bad pain. His back was done his last few fights and was giving him issues for a while before he retired. That being said, a roided Vargas gives Charlo a good fight and wins nonroided, Charlo whoops that fool!
