You guys do realize Ray Leonard only fought 3 times at MW right? And twice above? Leonard has no real resume to consider that he would even be competitive. He "really" lost to the final version of Hagler, and got destroyed, stopped and retired by Hector Camacho. Jacobs wins a wide decision.
When SRL face Camacho he was finished as a fighter has best days were way gone V Haglar i gave the fight to Ray but it was close,Jacobs would not beat a prime Hearns.
This. Jacobs hasn’t shown anything to make me believe he could beat SRR, since against GGG he showed up to survive.
Former American Boxing Champion. In the Melbourne Herald Sun commented on his height, saying: "I used to say I was 5ft 11 but the truth is I'm 5'9". This photo (by Chantelle) is from London Film Con 2013.
I agree, the nail was in Leonard's coffin when he fought Macho. As for Hearns, that was at SMW and Leonard was beaten down in that fight, and even has admitted he probably should've lost and it wasn't a draw. And you're right, Jacobs wouldn't beat a prime Hearns. I don't even think he would've beaten a slightly post prime Hearns.
We both Agree on Hearns & I could not see Jacobs beating Hagler where SRL did. Hearns even won a World Cruiserweight Title also Hearns & SRL boxed for 15 rounds. I wonder how many today would go 15 rounds with guys from the past.
Simply impossible to compare ERAS, especially when retired fighters become unbeatable once retired got good Does the srl that old fighters That were never cabable of being great destroyed him IN HIS EARLY TO MID 30's..
