I don't get it. You seem to say that Joshua fighting "cruiserweights" is a bad thing, but then say he should have fought Hunter.

    "Handspeed only".

Andy isn't fast at all. He does have extremely fast hands but he's small, not mobile, not strong enough to push Joshua around etc.....He's gonna be cannon fodder from the outside. You are right about him needing to keep it inside. Ruiz's success will depend on him being able to get inside and how much he's able to flurry as Joshua ties him up and pushes him back out to range. Will he be able to clip him during this time.

It's quite impressive when morbidly obese guy is that fast and coordinated

I'm excited for this fight , I have a feeling he might cause some problems but I can't help thinking Ruiz might get banged out Molina style . This is AJ's debut in the US and he will be looking to destroy his opponent for this one . Maybe Ruiz could use that to his advantage and slow the pace down to make it longer and get AJ frustrated . Potential trap fight here .

Agreed, I recalled the Molina fight when I think of Joshua/Ruiz..

But I gave Ruiz one extra round over Molina based on it being a US debut and Ruiz not wanting to go down easily infront of New York lol.

Pride factor/sheer will = extra survival round for Ruiz

Calm down, It's going to be less competitive than Breazeale/Joshua.... in that Ruiz Jr won't last 7 rounds.

    Parker is the faster heavyweight.

Andrès Ponce Ruiz Jr. would viciously KO Dillian Whyte.
