In your opinion, why do you think Cotto beats Crawford? Looking at his career, opposition, strengths, weaknesses, and fighters he has success against and conversely struggles with, how do you reach the conclusion that Cotto beats Crawford? Because ge fought better competition? Crawford is the antichrist for Cotto. Cotto repeatedly, consistently, ALWAYS struggled against slick counterpunchers with blazing hand and foot speed. Look at how bad he had it against Trout, Crawford -- without a doubt in my mind, would have Cotto twerking like a broad 30 seconds into the first round and humping the canvas for good by the 5th round.

Weird that in most hypothetical match-ups involving Floyd he's the heavy underdog according to most posters and would be beaten easily despite the fact he retired undefeated, won world titles in six different divisions and beat a who's who of 130-147 from 1998 onwards. Now I'm not saying his CV is perfect or even ATG status because there are clearly some major flaws in it but if you want to predict how he'd do in fantasy H2H's in a slightly more balanced manner it might help if you remove the filter of irrational hatred many have towards Floyd.

Floyd never faced an opponent with 1/4 the physical/athletic/talent/skill/IQ package that Crawford has nor anyone his size with his reach and speed. Jose Benavidez was PUTTING IT ON Ricky Hatton -- who was prime -- when he was 16 years old when they sparred.

I stated a fact. You made an exaggerated and false statement then speak of a sparring tale. As I stated, Crawford's best opponent wouldn't be in Floyd's top 15. Crawford getting touched up by a one legged Benevidez with no resume makes people wonder what a guy like Jerron Ennis, Regis Prograis, let alone Errol Spence would do to Crawford.

Lol Jarron Ennis and Regis Prograis....... I'm being nice in saying they never will be qualified to share a ring with Crawford, goes to show you dont know **** about ****.

In any form of combat, any person or force has their Arsenal/inventory of weapons, methods of employing them, countermeasures against opposition's Arsenal, and IQ/intelligence. Its not Crawford's fault he doesn't have a great dance partner. Before the first gulf war the whole world thought the US military was a joke. Then Desert Storm and Sheild commence and the whole world watches in awe of the laser show put on. It didn't matter that it was the garbage IraqI army that got worked. Everyone saw the weapons and capability of the US military and were left speechless and in awe while every opposing nation was put on notice.

Everytime Crawford fights, he shows his immense Arsenal, talent, and capabilities. Fact: Crawford is WAY BIGGER than Mayweather. Fact: Crawford is faster in every area than Floyd ever was at any weight. Fact: Crawford owns a pretty significant reach advantage over Mayweather -- inches -- and always uses it to his full advantage, and Floyd never faced anyone with that kind of reach advantage on him that used it to its full potential. Reach or rather Mayweathers advantage or stalemate in that area is vital to how he fought at the higher weights. Fact: Crawford punches MUCH harder than Mayweather. Fact: they are equally precise punchers but Crawford punches in combination MUCH better than Mayweather who was a pot **** artist. Fact: they both have phenomenal IQ, but Crawford is the one with the WAY more impressive arsenal, he is a master at employing it, and in this scenario hes the US military and Mayweather is the Iraqi army. Its a total mismatch. Lara might have whooped his ass even worse than Crawford. Not one opponent on Mayweathers resume is 1/4 the fighter Crawford is and Pac was far over the hill but still didnt present the problems Crawford does. Mayweather is totally overmatched against Crawford. But as history shows, he never would have fought Crawford and definitely steered clear of Lara. Facts, son, now go to your room. Boot Ennis. Lol.

Picking Mayweather solely on his resume and undefeated record is foolish. The era he fought in will almost assuredly be remembered as better than the current generation which proceeded it, mainly because there were a lot of elite fighters who fought against some of the other elites. But there were a lot of fights that took place between the elites when one or both fighters were past their prime.

Prime Thurman would be a MF'er for most fighters from that generation. None of those guys seemed too keen on fighting Kell Brook either, or Shawn Porter. All three of those guys could have potentially posed some very interesting matchup against the Pac's, Floyd's, Cotto's, and juiced to the gills JMM. Spence and Crawford -- o doubt in my mind that they could have ****ed with and beaten the best of that generation.

Anyone picking Floyd to beat Crawford, I doubt has ever boxed against/sparred against someone who is significantly bigger, stronger, longer, more powerful, faster in every way, equally as coordinated and accurate with an equally as good or close to it ring IQ. The chance of the guy with the deck stacked against him winning is less than 1%. Keep in mind Mayweather was mostly stationary at the higher weights, lead foot away out in front and pot shitting with his check hook. He's fish in a barrell for Crawford. Think about this: a stationary, shoulder roll employing and pot shitting fighter against a bigger, longer, faster in every way, stronger, excellent movement, very highly skilled fighter with dead on accuracy who throws lethal combinations and is a master counter puncher with fluid head and upper body movement. WTF could Mayweather possibly do besides getting lit up like Baghdad? And dont give me the "hes so much more skilled and fought better comp" cliche reply. I want to hear how he could possibly overcome those vitally important deficits and what he has shown at those weights that he could employ to help him win this fight. Everyone is gonna be drawing blanks.

Hard to go against the Mayweather that beat Marquez or the Mayweather that beat Alvarez. I don't believe that Crawford has the handspeed, footspeed or boxing IQ to beat the best Mayweather at 147 and that is no insult. I love Crawford's boxing game but I've seen nothing from him to indicate that he could hang with Mayweather at his best at 147. Mayweather was at a level above Crawford.

Im not saying at all Crawford beats Canelo unless all things were even as far as size Crawford would beat him. No way he beats Canelo right now as he's simply too big for Crawford. Cotto gets beat imho but I respect you thinking he edges Crawford.
