I was 12 and couldn't give a **** about boxing in 2016. I wanted to see a fight with Canelo and a close (er) to prime GGG. Also he vacated a belt to not fight his mandatory, that's duck Get over it
I'm arguing with a 14- or 15-year-old? Of course it seems like a duck to you. A year is a long time when you don't even have your driver's license yet. I don't argue with children. Bye.
I'm 70 and he is right and you are wrong. It must be disheartening to lose a debate to a 14 year old. lol
Ok, so we're talking about a 21-month era. Yeah, if that's the case, I'll have to agree, that if only results after August 2017 counts - then it would be impossible for anyone to build an ATG resume in such a short time.
To be fair it would be impossible now, Greb did it in one year going 45-0, against 7/8 hall of famers in 1919.
I don't pay too much attention to resume but rather how good the fighter fights while fighting... and while Canelo is a great boxer, he's not an all-time great, as he doesn't have those dominant performances against elite opponents or that one transcendent skill. He needs to do what Mayweather did to him to somebody A-Level for me consider him as such, basically. He still has time though and he's still getting better.
