I don't know who this "Marciano" is, but from what I've read on this forum, he was a tomato can who would get ko'd by the legendary powerhouse "Slapsie" Maxie Rosenbloom

Yes, most if not all boxers are horrendously overrated....crude sluggers or guys who run away. Glass chinned, no heart slicksters who run rather than engaging. Modern fighters are to soft to fight but twice a year, but even worse are those who had the audacity to be captured on black and white film....pathetic! In fact most boxers are such poor fighters it is a wonder that we even watch this sport.

 

Rocky was a poster boy for getting everything out of yourself from sheer hard work and guts. His ability to absorb punishment and keep persevering was amazing, how he could keep throwing power shots for an entire fight with scant signs of tiredness is testament to his heart and fitness........I nearly had you there didn’t I? No he was a total bum and went bald early too.
