Dempsey vs the following fighters

    I see Patterson KO'ing him and Williams and Terrell winning also. Otherwise, Jack takes the lot.

    I think Patterson would have the tools to win, but his chin vs Dempsey's punching power makes me have to favor Dempsey.

    That Williams was very diminished, it wasn't the same Williams that Liston fought in 1959-60. You sure about this?

    Patterson I could see winning, but his chin makes me favor Dempsey. A 67 version of Williams IMO was too diminished so I can't see anything other than an early Dempsey blow out. Terrell, maybe.

    The Patterson one is interesting. His supposed weak chin seemed to have strengthened for a period there. And the real point is that he is faster than Dempsey and probably hit about as hard. A little cuteness went a long ways against Dempsey. He did better against oafs like old Willard and Firpo than even Gibbons or obviously Tunney. Patterson had more than a little cuteness.

    I think Chuvalo would give him a very tough fight.
