    Corrie Sanders was a good fighter and a dangerous puncher.
    Just look the situation with the big name South Africans at the time, Sanders and Botha.
    Sanders was better, but Botha was signed with Don King and got the big fights. Connections.

    Sanders had Rahman in trouble too in their 2000 fight, but let him off the hook. By the time the Klitschko fights came around in 2003 and 04, Corrie was 37 and 38 and basically a part time boxer just hanging around for one big opportunity.

    Sanders hammered Wlad early to win the WBO title in a big surprise so Vitali was forewarned by how dangerous CS could be.
    Corrie was always more dangerous early on.
    I don't think he would have beaten Vitali short of a early rounds stoppage and he did rock VK early on, but once that chance had gone, Vitali was always going to win.

    If you thought Corrie was good, Roberto Cammerrelle was a very similar fighter and I think actually better than Sanders.

    agreed vitali got knocked down....sanders was 235 for vitali ( BUT WEIGHED IN WITH SHOES / LEATHER JACKET FOOD ECY HE WAS PROBABLY CLOSER TO 231 LBS) agreed to bad the sniper didnt keep in better shape inbetween fights ...he luved hunting/golf....

    Talent in sense of he was athletic as ****, even if he didn't look like it.
    But in terms of boxing ability and IQ, he wasn´t all that(relatively speaking).
